Dear Mike, Jes, Lesley and Spence,
As you may be aware, the BBF is currently administrating umpiring duties for domestic baseball games, following on from the de-recognition of the ABUA-GB as the official umpires association. You may be aware of the circumstances that led to the BBF's decision to cease utilising ABUA as the service provider, as related disciplinary action has been published on the BBF website, and the situation has been the topic of discussion at both Federation and BSUK Board meetings.
In any case, the BBF currently needs support in ensuring its National Baseball League (NBL) and AAA games are umpired. Would you please advise us if there are BASU umpires who are capable and interested in umpiring baseball games on summer Sundays?

In a nutshell, umpires would be asked to cover NBL double-headers in the South or AAA double-headers in the North, always on Sundays. There are Sunday games every week until late August.
We certainly don't want to pull umpires away from their regular softball work, so this is intended as an option primarily for individuals wanting more work, or wanting to break into the 'other' sport.
I would be grateful if you can provide me with any names, emails and mobiles of likely candidates, and I will reach out to them directly to seek upcoming availability and schedule fixtures at nearby fields. Alternatively, they can contact me at this email address.
